Es ist so weit - SONY stellt in New York eine "Next Gereration" Konsole vor - die PS4!

Wie wir uns alle bereits gedacht haben wird in diesem Jahr ein Konsolenfeuerwerk losgehen. Den Auftakt legt nun der Japanische Gaming-Riese hin. SONY stellte nun auf dem New Yorker Event seine neue Konsole vor und gab die technischen Details preis.   Abergläubisch scheint der japanische Technologiekonzern nicht zu sein, da die Konsole die in Japan als Unglückszahl geltende "4" trägt. Am Ende ist jedoch nicht die Nummer ausschlaggebend für den Erfolg einer Konsole, sondern drei Dinge: die Hardware, die Online-Erfahrung und natürlich die Games. Und in allen drei Bereichen will Sony mit der Playstation 4 neue Maßstäbe setzen.

In Sachen Hardware-Struktur setzte Sony bei der Playstation 3 - unter anderem mit dem Cell-Prozessor - noch auf ein relativ eigenes Konzept. Für Entwickler war das eine besondere Herausforderung und führte vor allem in den ersten Lebensjahren der Konsole zu einigen weniger gut gelungenen Spiele-Umsetzung. Im Vergleich dazu ist das Innenleben der Xbox 360 stark an das eines traditionellen PCs angelehnt, was es für Entwickler wiederum verhältnismäßig leicht macht, Spiele für die Microsoft-Konsole zu entwickeln, umzusetzen und zu optimieren. Mit der Playstation 4 will Sony die Fehler der Vergangenheit nicht wiederholen und geht einen ähnlichen Weg, wie die Xbox 360: Das Innenleben der PS4 ist ähnlich aufgebaut wie ein Heim-PC. Wie Sony auf der Pressekonferenz bekannt gab, spendieren sie der neuen Playstation einen x86-64-Prozessor und acht Gigabyte GDDR5-RAM. Außerdem setzt Sony auf die sogenannte APU-Technologie (Accelerated Proccessing Unit) - kombiniert also Grafik- und Hauptprozessor, was einen ordentlichen Leistungsschub bringt. Übersetzt und einfach ausgedrückt bedeutet das: In der Playstation 4 ist ordentlich Power verbaut. Die neue Sony-Konsole muss sich also nicht hinter aktuellen PCs verstecken.

Chapter 1.0: As the most of you already know I am trying to learn japanese. My goal for the next time is to pass the JLPT N5 test. A nice user from Interpals gave me a helpful feedback regarding to this blog and said to me, that she would like me to write about my japanese learning process. So I think this is a great idea for a new main content of my blog. Sooo... first of all I try to give an explanation about the reason for my decision to walk this hard way of learning a so difficult language. At the beginning there where the animes (of course - I think all people who try to learn japanese like animes and use them as a real helpful way to get some input). Later I bought my first Manga. I was so facinated by the fact of reading it from back to front. This was my personal first contact, that made me interested in japan, to such a different culture.
